At some points in our lives, we feel stuck because we no longer feel we are making progress, it happens to everyone regardless of your status or your social strata. People’s growth get stuck sometimes in their lives.
It is important to note this, when you feel like you are no longer growing no matter how hard you try, it could be that you’ve chose to love something different from what you have passion for; at this point, a change is expected.
Someone once approached me and said “I feel like quitting this career because my dreams are not working out but I can’t just quit it because I have gone too far to quit” so, I responded “Would you remain stuck for your whole life because you’ve come too far to quit or quit and start something you love and is passionate about and make your dream work?”
Note this down: No point of your life is too far, high or precious to be quitted for a restart if there is a dying need for that. We kill ourselves so much with ideologies that suits our beliefs rather than ideologies that speaks truth about our situation and that’s why we wait to see solutions but don’t get to see them.
As much as this is, the path to growth is never an easy one. Opportunities for growth will present themselves as challenges. There will be stumbling blocks in your path towards growth in the thing you are doing but when you incubate the love and passion to go the extra mile, these stumbling blocks become wonderful curves for growth; they become moments where you take your knowledge, ability and your overall experience to another dimension and a new level. This feeds self-esteem and your overall confidence grows.
When we venture to grow with deep passion and love, we learn a lot about ourselves; learning about ourselves is the best pathway to grow. With the knowledge about yourself, you have control and mastery over your emotions and this fosters how you apply the right emotion to each situation you get into, to boost growth.
You must be very intentional about your growth you can do this by being deliberate about each step you take to grow. No attempt has the capacity of bringing result except it is acted with intention.
Let’s take this few aspects you need to be committed in to grow:
1. Increasing Focus
4. Learning to accept failure and building on them for growth
5. New learning
6. Social skills
8. Problem Solving
9. Observation and Perception
10. Healthier lifestyles
11. Quality control
12. Personal Standards
Finally, One single action is far better than a billion intentions never acted upon; your growth is the sum total of all your failed attempts. Every great man was once a loser, it doesn’t matter how many times you failed, it only matters how many times you failed to try. Trying is the bedrock of solidity, the more you try the better you become and the much growth you record.
